Withington Hill timber stables are designed to incorporate maximum VENTILATION, one of the most important aspects of a timber stables. Our Stables are also designed to offer as much comfort to your horse as possible; there is ample ventilation built into the stable through the eaves, timber louvers in the gable ends and a six blade louvre window in the front panel. We offer our Standard, Premier and Excel range of stables in all sizes complimented by our tack rooms, hay store, corner boxes and garages.
We offer site visits and plans can be drawn on request and we offer delivery throughout the UK & Europe. Our dedicated and experienced staff will undertake the assembly of the stable building on site. This normally takes 1 to 5 days depending on the size of the project. We do not sub contract out any of our work, so you can rest assured of our commitment through every stage of your stable project.
All our timber stables come with a 1.1m roof overhang as standard which can be extended to suit the customers’ requirements this can be finished off with post and gallows brackets. We also offer clock towers, archways, walkways etc. Once you have looked at the brochure we will be happy to discuss your requirements offering advice and assisting you in the design of your stable complex. We will provide elevation drawings for you to submit with your planning application.
Regarding base work, we will liaise closely with your builder giving base drawing and specification for the base requirements. As all our buildings are built to order, sizes can be modified to suit. We pride ourselves on the strength and durability of our equestrian buildings whilst maintaining our competitive prices against other manufacturers.

Our Premier range come fully lined to the eaves including stables, tack room, field shelter, mobile field shelters, hay store and American barn loose boxes, eliminating chewing edge and adding to the insulation properties of the building, in 11mm OSB other thicknesses and materials are available on request
Our Excel stable range is designed to stable anything from the largest of horses to the smallest of ponies.
The height of the Excel stable range has been designed to give maximum headroom with no central truss limitations in the stables, the additional headroom also gives greater air circulation with our unique design maximising airflow through the rear eaves allowing the front canopy to be underlined which can also be extended to suit the customers requirements, extended overhangs are supported on posts with curved gallows brackets.
Our Excel range come fully lined to the eaves including stables, tack room, field shelter, mobile field shelters, hay store and American barn loose boxes, eliminating chewing edge and adding to the insulation properties of the building, in 15mm OSB other thicknesses and materials are available on request.

Withington Hill offer a complete design service to help you achieve the layout and functionality you require for your individual needs. We appreciate that everyone will have particular needs, and our design service is there to help you get exactly what you are looking for.
We can also offer you the services of a specialist designer, should you require a detailed drawing procuring. More details available on request.
Regarding planning. In around 90% of cases planning approval will be required for your new buildings, although sometimes you can build stables in your garden without it and in many areas of the country, you can erect mobile buildings without requiring planning approval.
We recommend considering discussing things with Withington Hill Stables or an equestrian planning consultant and equestrian architect about any potential planning issues.
